Do I Qualify?
You may qualify for Lifeline benefits in different ways. Please select one of the following options to continue and view available providers in your area.
Income-Based Qualification
A household may qualify for Lifeline if the household income is 135% or less of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. The income limits vary based on household size and state of residence.

Program-Based Qualification
Lifeline eligibility can be met if you or someone in your household participates in qualifying assistance programs.
Federal Programs
Qualifying federal programs include: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Federal Public Housing Assistance, and Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit.
Tribal Programs
Qualifying Tribal eligibility programs include: Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), and Head Start (for income-qualified households).

Safe Connections Act - Survivor Qualification
The Safe Connections Act provides eligibility for survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, or related crimes. Survivors may qualify for Lifeline benefits through one of the following:
- Household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
- Enrollment in WIC (Women, Infants, and Children Program)
- Enrollment in Free or Reduced-Price School Lunch programs
- Receipt of a Federal Pell Grant in the current award year
Privacy Protections: The Safe Connections Act includes important privacy protections for survivors. Temporary emergency Lifeline support is available to help survivors maintain connectivity while ensuring their safety and privacy.
